It has been another eventful and exciting year for local sport.
Nominations are now open for the only celebration of sport covering the whole of the Barrow Borough Community.
Paralympian Paula Johnson brought joy to our hearts by representing GB Wheelchair Basketball at the Beiljing Olympic. Paula was among a host of top sportsmen and women recognised for their individual and club achievements at last year’s ceremony.
The awards also honour the commitment and dedication of the coaches and volunteers involved in sport in the borough, with categories including Young Sports Volunteer and lifetime contribution.
