‘Celebrating Success’

We would like to invite you to the above event on Wednesday 22nd September here at Waterside House. The event will showcase the diverse range of new start businesses that commenced trading over the last 15 years in the area, with the assistance of Furness Enterprise.

Mr. John Woodcock MP will officially open the event and launch the fourth edition of the ‘First in Furness’ publication. This publication contains the results of the bi-annual research on the survival rate of new start businesses assisted by Furness Enterprise.

Over 25 small businesses will be exhibiting their products and this is an ideal opportunity to network and speak to some of our local ‘entrepreneurs.’ Business Advisers will be available to answer any questions you may have.

Two workshops have been arranged to inspire ‘potential’ entrepreneurs to start up in business. Tom Edge is well known in the area and will present a ‘How to set up and run your own successful business’ whilst Geoff Ramm will provide start up businesses with cost effective ways to market and get their businesses off the ground.

If you are considering starting up in business or if you are already in business and would like to speak to like minded individuals, this event is not to be missed.
