‎'A Great British Story - Furness Journey' is on BBC 1 North West on June 12 10.35pm. Featuring Barrow including the Dock Museum, BAE and Furness Abbbey.

Furness Abbey is now open 7 days a week from 10 a.m. til 5 p.m. (until further notice).

You may have some visitors over the summer who you want to take. Remember, if you live in the Barrow Borough, you can take your council tax bill in to the Town Hall Central Reception to obtain a Pass, which entitles you to go into the Abbey & South Walney Nature Reserve for FREE. Please spread the word.
