Thought for the Week

“The poverty of our century is unlike that of any other. It is not, as poverty was before, the result of natural scarcity, but of a set of priorities imposed upon the rest of the world by the rich.”  John Berger

About us

Neighbourhood Management
We have been working in Central and Hindpool since July 2006 and based in our office at the bottom of Dalton Rd (former Storys the Jewellers) from September 2007. We then stretched our work to include Barrow Island, this reflects our partnership work with the Neighbourhood Police team who cover the same area. More recently, February 2015, we have moved into Barrow Town Hall and closed our former office at 242/244 Dalton Rd. We work alongside a wide range of services working in the area and we'd love to hear from you ... we want to know what you think about your neighbourhood. You are the experts in what it's like to live and work in Central, Hindpool and Barrow Island so please let us know what you think.
