Cumbria Police to host recruitment web chat

Ever considered a career in policing? Do you want to make a difference to this county?

Cumbria Constabulary are hosting a live web chat on Thursday 19th February to answer questions about the current recruitment process, the role of a Police Constable, the training provided and to discuss how being a Cumbria Constabulary Police Constable is the start of an exciting and rewarding career.

The web chat on Thursday offers a chance to speak with members of staff from the Human Resources Department who will be able to share their expertise and answer any questions you may have regarding the recruitment process.

Temporary Assistant Chief Constable Steve Johnson said “Working as a police constable enables you to support your local community whilst gaining new skills and experience in a professional role. If you are looking for a challenge and want to make a difference in the community, please join the web chat to find out more.

“The web chat is a great way to ask us a variety of questions on the recruitment process and I would encourage those who are considering whether to apply to join in.”

To take part in the web chat log onto: www.cumbria.police.uk/JoinUsChat between 6pm and 7pm on Thursday 19th February.

The application process for the new recruits closes on 27th February 2015. Further details about the role of a police officer are available on the Cumbria Constabulary website – http://www.cumbria.police.uk/join-us
